Here are some things the children have said:

“My daddy would throw beer bottles at my mom. I would come home and he would beat me up, my brothers and my mom.” (12 year old boy)

“I brought a friend home from school and when we got there, my mom’s nose was bloodied where my step-dad punched her in the face. We had to take my friend home and go to the hospital with my mom. When I got home my step-dad pushed me down the stairs.” (13 year old girl)

“He made me put his privates in my mouth. I almost choked. I didn’t want to, but he wouldn’t stop.” (6 year old boy)

“My daddy picked me up one time and threw me through the railing on the porch. It broke the wood and hurt my back.” (9 year old boy)

These are all true statements from children in Fannin, Gilmer and Pickens Counties. We really do need you help!
